Greetings!
On your student's "Daily Planner" you see Phonics is now apart of our nightly homework routine and spelling has increased in assignments completed nightly. Below you will find the homework for the week of November 27th-December 1st.
Monday
Spelling: Study Spelling words and Fry Sight Words;
Complete Spelling Comic Strip.
*Students are to use 7 spelling words in a comic strip about our new friend, Jake the Snake.
In order to receive full credit, students need the following: Title, Author, Illustrator, 7 spelling words, Details in each scene, and more than two colors used.
Math: Worksheet (4-2)
Phonics: Creating new words with the ending digraph (-ke, -lk, ck)
Reading: Frog and Toad; Break Out at the Bug Lab
Tuesday
Spelling: Write a sentence for each spelling word. Use 1 common noun and proper noun in each sentence. Underline each common noun and circle each proper noun.

Reading: Frog and Toad; Break Out at the Bug Lab
Wednesday
Spelling: ABC order
Math: Word Problem
Phonics: Sorting
Reading: Pick a challenging book and circle the words you DO know. On a separate sheet of paper, write the words that you DO NOT know.
